Er Yi Tai Hosts Second Xiaohongshu 小红书 Community Event with Exclusive Japanese Liquor Discovery Session

Following the success of the inaugural event at Hygge Dining & Bar, Er Yi Tai (EYT) is excited to announce the second Xiaohongshu (XHS) 小红书 content creators’ gathering. This event is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant and interconnected creative community in Penang.

Set to take place in the stylish and inviting setting of EYT, this event will feature an exclusive Japanese liquor discovery session. Attendees will enjoy a curated tasting experience led by Ben Ong from Asiaeuro Wines & Spirits Sdn Bhd. With 11 years of experience in the field of Japanese liquor, Ben will be showcasing:

Saito Umeshu
A traditional Japanese plum wine made from ume fruit, known for its sweet and tart flavor profile. This umeshu is crafted with a perfect balance of fruitiness and sweetness, offering a smooth and refreshing taste.

Tasting Notes: Rich plum aroma, sweet and tangy taste, smooth finish.
Serving Suggestions: Enjoy chilled, on the rocks, or in cocktails.

Maroyaka Imo Shochu (25% ALC)
A sweet potato-based shochu known for its smooth and mellow taste. The 25% alcohol content makes it approachable and easy to drink, highlighting the natural sweetness and earthiness of the sweet potato.

Tasting Notes: Mild and slightly sweet with earthy undertones, smooth and gentle finish.
Serving Suggestions: Neat, on the rocks, or diluted with water.

Kuro Goho Black Sesame Shochu (25% ALC)
A unique shochu infused with the rich, nutty flavor of black sesame seeds. The 25% alcohol content provides a balanced and distinct taste experience.

Tasting Notes: Deep, nutty aroma with a rich, slightly sweet flavor of black sesame, smooth and lingering finish.
Serving Suggestions: Neat, on the rocks, or with soda water.

Yatsu Boshi Gin (43% ALC)
A premium Japanese gin with a higher alcohol content of 43%. It is crafted using a blend of traditional botanicals and Japanese ingredients, offering a complex and refined flavor profile.

Tasting Notes: Aromatic with hints of citrus and floral notes, balanced by a robust juniper backbone and subtle spices. The high alcohol content provides a bold and clean finish.
Serving Suggestions: Perfect for gin cocktails or enjoyed neat.

Canapés (Omelette, Prawn Toast, Mushroom Croquette, Salmon Cracker, Tako Taco) will be served throughout the event.

This event will provide XHS content creators with a unique experience, combining networking with an educational exploration of Japanese liquors. Attendees are encouraged to share their experiences on their XHS profiles, showcasing the unique offerings and vibrant community spirit of EYT.
